Cha Bo (Vietnamese Beef Kebabs)

Chả Bò, one of seven beef courses served in a fancy grilled beef dish called Bò Bảy Món, this patty can be served with a texture of ground beef or a paste. Vietnamese prefer the paste because it blends all the ingredients well and this increases the flavor of the meat and that’s how Chả is usually made.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of chopped beef
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped lemon grass
  • 2 teaspoon of finely chopped red or green chili
  • 1.5 tablespoon of fish sauce
  • 3 tablespoons of grounded roasted peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion or shallot
  • 1.5 tablespoons of coconut cream
  • 1 teaspoon of curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon of palm sugar
  • 1 pound of chopped beef
Directions:
Add all the ingredients in a bowl
Using your hands, make it into one small flat balls
Over medium heat, fry or grill the meat.
Serve with sweet chili sauce.
